Kilner Vacuumation Company Limited

Kilner Vacuumation Company was incorporated in 1964, the first UK company established specifically to develop and manufacture Vacuum Lifting Equipment. In the early 1960s the term 'Vacuum Lifting' was little known, practical applications had only come into being in the late 1950s. Born from overhead crane manufacturing, Kilner Vacuumation rapidly introduced vacuum lifting technology in to the UK steel industry. Having demonstrated the multiple benefits of using vacuum lifting equipment for metal plate and sheet, demand from many other industries followed.  In 1970 Kilner Vacuumation acquired land for a new purpose built factory and with the rush for North Sea oil and gas, provided the steel industry with the necessary equipment to service the rolling mills. During the 1980s and 90s we developed products for many industries and contributed to many key projects. Our dedication to Safety, Reliability & Innovation has earned us a sound reputation worldwide for our products. In 2015 and beyond we continue to provide solutions to new challenges and benefits for both new customers and old.
